Meet Rajesh, Your Expert Physiotherapist
Rajesh is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist with 25 years of expertise in musculoskeletal care. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal recovery, reduce pain, and restore function so they can live their best quality of life.
Rajesh graduated from MAHE University, India, a leading academic and research institution recognized as an Institution of Eminence by the Government of India, in 2000. He furthered his clinical expertise at the renowned Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) in Oswestry, where he worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in musculoskeletal outpatients for 18 years. During this time, he developed a specialist interest in musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation. He also served as a part-time advanced Occupational Physiotherapist at Airbus, Ellesmere Port, focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation for employees.
Rajesh's commitment to evidence-based practice is reflected in his research. He co-authored a randomized controlled trial comparing shockwave therapy and steroid injections for greater trochanteric pain syndrome/hip bursitis. In 2021, he started working as a Physiotherapy Practitioner, after completing master' s-level qualifications at the University of Essex and the University of Central Lancashire. His expertise in soft tissue and joint injections further enhances his ability to provide advanced physiotherapy care. This service will be available at our clinic soon.
Currently, Rajesh works in the NHS in Birmingham, specialising in diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions, delivering evidence-based treatments (including joint injections and rehabilitation plans), and referring patients to consultants when necessary.
Outside of physiotherapy, Rajesh enjoys cycling and strength and conditioning training, having previously been passionate about cricket and badminton. Most importantly, he cherishes spending time with his wife and two young children.
He understands the profound impact of pain on daily life and his own successful surgery and experience with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions have shaped his empathetic and patient-centred approach to care.
